When hand pump is activated, the extender bar pulls outward on the lumbar strap,creating traction on patient's lumbar area.
Patient uses pump to control pressure on the extender bar, providing slow, gentle traction. Release valve simplifies intermittent traction. Complete with pressure gauge and safety valve. Carrying/storage case is compact and light to carry.

Indications for Use
Nerve impingement (sub-acute chronic phase), herniated disc, ligament encroachment, osteophyte encroachment, spinal nerve root swelling, narrowing foramen, spondylosis, hypomobility, joint changes, degenerative changes, joint pain/symptomatic facet joint, spasm/guarding, discogenic pain, postcompression fracture.

Contraindications
Severe rheumatoid arthritis, infections and inflammatory disease, fractures, extruded disc fragmentation, spreading and/or aggravation of patient's symptoms, serious pathology or disease, malignancy, and spinal cord compression. See instruction sheet for additional precautions.
